Diamantaire Pricing Structure
Standard Grading and Evaluations: $70.00/ hour

When wholesale pricing is deemed consequential, Wholesale Pricing Reports will be compiled on the guest’s behalf
When central-element Gems and Diamonds are considered consequential to affect overall all value of a piece, those stones will be recommended to be dismounted and sent into GIA for advanced analysis and testing. In some cases, the value of colored stones will be set by their Country-of-Origin testing, at that point he will make the proper recommendation to send the stone in.

EXAMPLE: A Guest has a richly saturated slightly violetish-blue Sapphire, Deep in Saturation, light in Tone (minimal black or inkiness to the color), strong in Hue.

Only by sending in this stone, to ascertain where the Sapphire came from (i.e. Sri Lanka, Australia, or India, etc.) …will mean the difference of a Sapphire worth just a handful of thousands of dollars and a Sapphire worth tens-of-thousands of dollars. Such testing is critical to establishing proper wholesale value!

GIA Send-Ins:
-
Diamond Grading: $65/ .22ct. It varies from there depending on carat weight thereafter
-
More precise pricing will be made available upon verifying carat weight
-
-
Colored Stone ID: $120 flat fee (including shipping), before 20 carats
-
Exceptions: Sapphires, Rubies, Emeralds, Chrysoberyl, and Alexandrite
-
-

The guest will be contacted with any variation in pricing depending on circumstances, and oversize stones beyond the flat 20 carat-weight stones.

Diamantaire will serve as facilitator and expert onsite, to share the latest news and developments in the Jewelry trade.
Diamantaire will be on hand to grade and evaluate your treasures!

The first ten guests pay a flat $300 for the first ten guests.
Each additional guest beyond ten will be $35/ea.
If the event is to be held in a communal club house, then pertinent rental fees for the space will apply, along with any special licenses that are not already in possession (Liquor, Food Handler’s, etc.).
This tabulated fee will be disclosed prior to the date of the event. All admissions will be collected prior to the event.
CANCELATION POLICY
If for whatever reason a host/ hostess needs to cancel, they may do so at no charge, if canceled no less than two weeks prior to the scheduled event.
In the event a Jewelry party must be canceled after the two-week threshold, a 34% Cancelation Fee will be applied, equal to the charges incurred by the hosting venue, catering, and potential size of the group.
BROKERING
This service is offered for the guest who is looking to liquidate and who needs the support of expertise in the industry to achieve results.
This service is billed by the sale commission of 25% of the sale of each lot of ten pieces of Jewelry sold. If less than ten pieces of Jewelry, then a flat 25% commission will apply.

As part of brokering services, Diamantaire also offers their guests the option of redesigning and restyling once treasured pieces into more desirable, current fashionable look, (repurposing the original stones, and when possible, re-refining precious metals to create more contemporary settings).
Starting rate: $50/ hour (above and beyond the $70/ hour grading fees).
The client will:
-
Receive consultation on design ideas prior to developing the design sketch
-
Be guided to the best match in the fabrication method, to ensure a successful result
-
Be kept abreast of out-times and ETA’s, throughout the process
-
Have a running tally of estimates as budget numbers come in
-
View all visual renderings for approval before moving forward, and sign-off
-
Be kept informed of shipping rates and methods as completion dates approach
When a pieces is determined to be of high quality, using premium stones, and pristine precious metals (i.e.: Cornflower [velvety] royal blue Sapphires, slightly to strongly orangish-red Rubies, Loupe-clean or better colored stones that more than likely will have GIA Documents to back up Identification/ Grading [Diamonds], the use of Platinum, Palladium, or 18k of better Gold, highly successful or timeless designs.)... those pieces will be set aside for separate sales. At that point each piece will come with a 25% commission.

Brokerage is above and beyond grading/ evaluating, weights and measures. Each piece will receive its own grading, independent of prior outside grading and evaluations. Once initial, or verified grading and evaluation is complete, then the brokering percentage will apply.
